Two dimensional, planar chair that utilizes the corner of a room to create its seating while giving the illusion of a solid object in space.
I was inspired by minimalist sculptor Fred Sandback who used wire or yarn to create virtual shapes by defining their edges in space.
Material Research
I researched fabric and elastic that would support a varied range of weight. Strength, comfort and elasticity were my top priorities.
